A spotlight on health issues specific to the voice artist across performance disciplines. Presentations from Mr. Evan Edwards (Event Organizer), Dr. Amelia Rollings (Western Kentucky University), and Mrs. Tianna Smith Gilliam (University of Kansas).

PANEL PRESENTATION: MENTAL HEALTH
From inconsistent work to rejection, the voice artist experiences a number of mental health stressors that can be just as debilitating as physical injury. Panelists: Dr. Abbey Dvorak (University of Kansas), Dr. Amelia Rollings (Western Kentucky University), Dr. Kristee Haney (University of Central Missouri), and Mr. Jerry Jay Cranford (Kansas State University).

Hearing health, a topic often neglected but vitally important to any voice artist, takes centerstage during this session with presentations from Dr. Krysta Green (University of Kansas) and Dr. Alan Martin (State University of New York: Oswego).

INTERDISCIPLINARY PANEL PRESENTATION
Bring your hot topics because this session starts with an audience roundtable to get the discussion rolling. Following the roundtable will be two separate panels focusing first on CCM/Theatre voice users, and then on Classica/Choral voice users. Panelists include: Dr. Jayme Dowdall (University of Nebraska Medical Center), Mr. Enoch Ulmer (University of Nebraska Medical Center), Dr. Alan Martin (State University of New York: Oswego), Mr. Jerry Jay Cranford (Kansas State University), Dr. Amelia Rollings (Western Kentucky University), Dr. Matthew Schloneger (Friends University), Dr. Dave Garnett (University of Kansas Medical Center), Mrs. Jessica Sullivan (University of Kansas Medical Center), Dr. Kristee Haney (University of Central Missouri), Dr. Raffaele Cipriano (International Conductor), and Dr. Melissa Grady (University of Kansas).
