Graduate Auditions

Complete your graduate application to KU, then select your instrument or degree program from the menu on the left for specific requirements.

The following MUSIC degree programs require an audition to the School of Music:

  • Church Music (MM, DMA)
  • Conducting (MM, DMA)
  • Performance - all instruments (MM, DMA)

ALL Piano and Voice performance applicants must submit a prescreening audition through Acceptd>>.

The following MEMT graduate programs require the admission video as noted in the MEMT Graduate Application Procedure document. 

  • Music Education (MME, PHD)
  • Music Therapy (MME, PHD)
  • Music Therapy (Graduate Equivalency)
    • Applicants without an undergraduate degree in music must also complete a separate audition to the School of Music.
    • For that audition, select Music Therapy Graduate Equivalency from the menu on the left for specific requirements.
