KU Youth Chorus to present annual concert on May 7

The KU Youth Chorus (KUYC) will present its annual informance concert on Thursday, May 7 at 5:15 p.m. in KU's Murphy Hall 328. KUYC is comprised of children in grades four through eight who participate in the non-auditioned choir. Debra Hedden, professor and director of music education, and Nathan Dame, doctoral student in music education, direct the choir who will perform a variety of pieces. During the year, KUYC performed for the Chancellor's Holiday Reception and one of the women's basketball games. The concert is free and open to the public.
