Laura McCorkill is an Administrative Associate and has been with the School of Music since September of 2009, responsible for Recital Scheduling and managing the Communications and Events Center. She earned two degrees from KU, a B.M.E in 1984 and an M.M.E. in 2010, and spent 22 years teaching music across the state of Kansas. She also spent over 20 years as the Choral Music Manager and as a Clinician for Midwestern Music Camp. Being a Jayhawk is a family tradition; her father, mother & grandmother have all worked on "The Hill". Laura is the faculty sponsor for two campus student groups, Sigma Alpha Iota, and the School of Music Ambassadors Club, and is active in her church choir as a singer and substitute conductor.
