2014 KU Band Day

The University of Kansas Bands
69th Annual KU BAND DAY
Saturday, September 10, 2016
Ohio University vs. KU

The KU Bands are proud to announce our 2016 Band Day!  Our traditional Band Day festivities begin with a parade down Massachusetts Street in downtown Lawrence, which is followed by a massed band rehearsal at Memorial Stadium. The massed bands will then perform at halftime of the Ohio University vs. KU football game.

The Avengers is arranged by Michael Brown and Will Rapp and published by Hal Leonard, and is available through various music retailers.

Additional details, including a schedule for the day, will be emailed to bands in August.  If you have further questions, please contact Ms. Sharon Toulouse, Assistant Director of Bands, at stoulouse@ku.edu, or contact the band office at 785-864-3367.

The kickoff for the football game will be 1:30 p.m.  The parade in downtown Lawrence is at 8 a.m., followed by our massed band rehearsal that morning.  Additional details, including a schedule for the day, will be emailed to bands in August. If you have further questions, please contact Ms. Sharon Toulouse, Assistant Director of Bands, at stoulouse@ku.edu, or contact the band office at 785-864-3367.
