Here is our preliminary schedule for Fall 2019. Marching Jayhawks members will receive a detailed schedule for band camp and next season over the summer. Additional dates and events, including band travel, will be added as they are determined. The schedule is subject to change.


Saturday, April 13: Spring Football Game

Tuesday, August 13: Early move-in and report date for Drumline, Student Staff, Drum Majors, and Graduate Staff for drumline camp and staff work days

Wednesday, August 14: Early move-in for Colorguard; Colorguard camp begins

Friday, August 16:  Early move-in for Rank/Section Leaders; Leadership Camp begins

Sunday, August 18: Rest of band moves in and begins Band Camp

Sunday, August 25: Last day of Band Camp

Monday, August 26: Classes begin

Saturday, August 31: Home football vs. Indiana State

Saturday, September 7: Home football vs. Coastal Carolina

Friday, September 13: School of Music Collage Concert performance

Saturday, September 21: Home football vs. West Virginia

Wednesday, September 25:  Topeka Marching Exhibition Performance

Saturday, October 5: Home football vs. Oklahoma

Friday, October 25: Homecoming Parade (Downtown Lawrence)

Saturday, October 26: Home football vs. Texas Tech (Homecoming/Alumni Band)

Saturday, November 2:  Home football vs. Kansas State 

Friday - Saturday, November 22-23: Away football trip to Iowa State

Saturday, November 30:  Home football vs. Baylor
