KU School of Music announces Undergraduate Honor Recital performers
LAWRENCE, KS —The University of Kansas School of Music is pleased to present the 2013 Undergraduate Honor Recital on Thursday, March 28th at 7:30pm in Swarthout Recital Hall, Murphy Hall.
The following students were selected by audition to perform in the recital:
Yoo Ahn, flute, Seoul, Korea – Gabriel Fauré’s “Fantasie”
John Meyer, baritone, Leawood, KS – Gabriel Fauré’s “En Sourdine Op.58, No. 2” and “Adieu Op. 21, No. 3”
Chris Agnew, saxophone, Spring Hill, KS – Jacques Ibert’s “Concertino da Camera”
JoAnn Doll, flute, Lawrence, KS performing with Shirin Abvabi, clarinet, Lenexa, KS – Robert
Muczynski’s “Duos for Flute and Clarinet”
Luke Rhodes, piano, Lawrence, KS – Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Toccata in C-Minor”
Alexander B. Goering, tenor, Spring Hill, KS – Arthur Sullivan’s “Oh, is there not one maiden breast…” and Igor Stravinsky’s “Here I Stand (A Rake’s Progress)”
Ethan Bartley, trumpet, Kansas City, MO – Edward Gregson’s “Concerto Movement I”
